Ireland is the second most charitable nation in the world

According to a new survey by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), Ireland is the second most charitable nation in the world and the most generous nation in Europe overall. Last year, Ireland was in third place internationally.
This year's report shows that 75% of the Irish population gives money to charity every month. At the same time, 38% volunteers time and 65% helps strangers

A Christmas Carol Service with the DIT Choral Society at St. Dymphna’s Oratory, St. Brendan’s Hospital Grounds, Grangegorman on Wednesday 7th December 2011 @ 7.30pm.
