A number of high growth companies announce international operations in Ireland


  • 100 new jobs for Galway by Canadian technology company - Pivot Acquisition Corp, one of North America's largest value-added IT solutions providers, has announced it will open a Shared Services Centre to support the company’s rapid international growth and expansion. Based in Galway, Pivot Shared Services will build a high skilled team, creating 25 jobs in 2011 and up to 75 additional jobs in 2012.

  • Commence Corporation establishes International office in Dublin - Commence Corporation, a leading provider of Customer Relationship Management Software (CRM) is establishing Commence International in Dublin. The IDA Ireland client company will create 20 jobs over 2 years as it expands its operations internationally.

  • Pinger establishes EMEA H.Q. in Dublin - Pinger, the company disrupting the mobile space by making texting and talking free, is establishing its EMEA Headquarters and a Customer and Technical Support operation in Dublin which will result in the creation of 15 jobs over the next two years.

  • Engine Yard to Establish EMEA Headquarters in Dublin - Engine Yard, an IDA Ireland client company, is establishing its EMEA headquarters in Dublin. The established U.S.-based technology company will help to create 30 high quality jobs in the next three years, with the potential to accelerate hiring as it looks to other markets for growth and international expansion.
