Animators Film Steals Grammy Limelight

A short animation film by DIT graduate Johnny Kelly stole the show during the TV broadcast of the Grammy awards last week in the USA. Johnny’s film, ‘Back to the Start’ was broadcast to an audience of millions during an ad break, advertising a popular US fast food chain, Chipotle Mexican Grill. The story shows a family farmer becoming disenchanted with factory farming and going back to a more sustainable approach, turning animals out to pasture and greening the countryside. The soundtrack has Willie Nelson singing Coldplay’s “The Scientist”.
