Important notice for Kazakhstan students applying for visa to study in Ireland

Students from Kazakhstan need to apply to the Irish visa office in Moscow for their student visas please see steps below.

Students apply online and via post - an Irish visa officer will be located in Astana in late August to issue final visas. With reference to the Bolashak programme applicants, the following documents are needed in order to apply for a visa under this programme.

The following documents are needed:

* Signed summary sheet. Application Form. When applicants have lodged their on-line applications on http://www.inis.gov.ie/ they have to print off and sign a 2-page summary sheet at the end of the process.

* A photocopy of the entire valid passport which should have 12 months minimum left to the date of expiry, if applicant envisages being in Ireland longer than 3 months. If in Ireland 3 months or less, a minimum of 6 months validity is enough.

* 2 standard passport colour photos

* The original offer letter from DIT, detailing the name, DOB and nationality of the student. It should also set out the name of the course being offered (e.g. Bachelor Degree programme in Mechanical Engineering), the proposed start date of this course and the duration of the course and expected date of graduation.

* The original award letter from the Bolashak programme. If this letter is in Russian/Kazakh language, a notarised English translation of it should be included. (Students can submit their visa applications without the final Bolashak payment guarantee letter in order to ensure they're lodged in a timely manner, then as the letters can be forwarded to the Irish visa office in Moscow as soon as they are issued.  The visa office advises that some form of document, perhaps an interim letter, should be provided from Bolashak, acknowledging the students in question are being considered.)
* The Consular fee of 2200 Russian Roubles per applicant should also be enclosed.
